Each year many patients with diving injuries including decompression illness and air embolism are treated at Jacobi’s hyperbaric chamber.  Whether the injury involves “pain only” bends involving joint and body pains, or “type 2” bends with neurologic injury including paralysis, the Jacobi hyperbaric chamber is available on an emergency basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help scuba divers in distress.
